Do Not Waste Your Money

Waiting nearly 3 months for an order. Never any updates when I check online for the status. When I call customer service, the person who answers the phone cannot answer any questions and transfers me to a supervisor. I sit on hold for 40-60 minutes, only to be told the supervisors are all too busy. They 'fill out a form' and promise that a supervisor will call me back. It NEVER HAPPENS. Worst customer service on the planet.

Terrible customer service and refused to respond to multiple requests from me.

My credit card was charged even though I did not place an order. I repeatedly emailed them in order to fix the problem, but never received a response. I have spent several hundred dollars with this business, but I will never purchase from them in the future.

Poor quality tools.

I purchased a 4" cultivator hand tool and found it to be heavy and crudely made. When I asked to return it, they said no thanks just keep it. Now what do I do? Throw it in the trash? I doubt their composter would recycle it.

No product, but charged anyhow!

This company has terrible customer service!
Told us that they will not charge us for a product never received and ordered a month ahead of time! Told that we didn't want it after all this time and yet charged us anyhow! FTC NOW!

Inexcusable Customer Service

My freeze-sensitive order was shipped without any notification or tracking number from Gardener's Supply. If I had received either, I would have watched for the delivery. Instead I discovered it on my front porch after a hard freeze overnight. The giant amaryllis bulb was ruined. There is no excuse for this sloppy shipping practice, especially from a company that has positioned itself as an elite gardening supplier.

Serious shipping g issues

Ordered planter list in stock, paid via PayPal. Weeks later, still not shipped. Contacted them and they claimed they couldn't process PayPal. Paid again with CC. Still not shipped a week later, contacted them and said they use a vendor that takes 10 days to ship and the clock started over once payment processes. Wth — multiple excuses on why they still have not shipped an in stock item. A gift ordered well in advance for Christmas will not be arriving on time. Thank for your poor service.

Money grabbers.

Rip off! Paid for garden seat, and received only a piece of plastic for tools. RIP off! Don't buy from them!

Light weight hose failures

I am very disappointed in your feather weight hoses. I have had 2 50 foot hoses and one 100 foot hose fail due to cracking of the outside of the hose. It does not do well in "weather". These hoses were costly in my opinion, but are cheaply made. I don't think I take a photo which would show the cracks

Slow service

I was very excited about my $150 order for spring flowering bulbs. I used money I received for my birthday on 9/11 and made my purchase on 9/25. I eagerly waited, and waited, and waited. The bulbs finally arrived after 1 full month on October 22. It was very frustrating to wait for that month. The problem was that the bulbs never shipped for three weeks after the order was placed. I live 1-1/2 hours drive from the locations of Gardener’s Supply stores and wished many times that I had just driven there to buy my bulbs.
Another unforeseen challenge occurred with a couple of bulb collections I purchased. As a gardener who is relatively new to planting bulbs I was not able to identify the different types of bulbs I received Since they arrive in a mixed bag; I had a list of what types of flowers were included in the collection, and I was able to identify a few of the bulbs, but many I was not—I had not anticipated that difficulty. It is very easy to look up bulbs and learn about their preferred growing sites, depth of planting, whether or not they are deer resistant ..... but it is very difficult to get an image of what the bulbs look like, so you may not know what you are planting!

The Compost Bin will work out well

The Compost Bin will work out well - however I had to go to our local hardware store to purchase longer bolts due to the warpage in the molded plastic panels.
Suggest using bolts approximately .50" longer to compensate.

I'm very pleased with my 3 bin compost

I'm very pleased with my 3 bin compost. It arrived in a short time and was easy to put together. I did have some difficulty getting the clips to close around the wire. It stands up strongly and has plenty of room in each bin.

Order

I ordered trellises in may and they were back ordered. I called the company,I learned they came from India. Gardeners Supply has been very transparent about the problem and I appreciate that, their service people on the phone are very kind and informed. There may have been hick ups in my order but I like working with this company. The Virus in our country make things difficult for companies.

VERY DIFFICULT! If you actually get through they put you on hold forever, customer service employees have no idea what's going on. If you do email you have to send multiple emails before you get a reply then you will get conflicting information.

Gardner Supply's customer service has been terrible! Will not answer the phone or reply to emails. Do not like their return/refund policy. Will not shop here again.
